Anxiety in ITF over suspension of director

Crisis is brewing at the Industrial Training Fund over the suspension of the Director, Business Training Development, Mr. Joe Bitrus, over allegations that he is vying for governorship position of Plateau State without resigning from his present office.

Bitrus was said to have breached civil service rules, which stipulate that a civil servant vying for any elective position must resign his position.

But the suspended director has petitioned the Presidency alleging infringement on his fundamental human rights and accusing the Director General, Prof. Longmas Wapmuk, and members of the board of ITF of wrong-doings and witch-hunting.
