Former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo
A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo (SAN), has been elected as Africa’s representative at the United Kingdom’s Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

With this development, Ojo, who is currently Nigeria’s representative at the International Law Commission, Geneva, an arm of the United Nations, has made history as the first Nigerian to occupy such position.

The election of the former AGF was contained in a congratulatory message sent to him by the Institute’s Director of Administration, Ms. Claire Hughes, on Friday.

The former AGF has been the head of the Institute in Nigeria and the West African representative of The Netherland-based Foundation for International Commercial Arbitration.
