Fears over rising state of insecurity in the nation

As the nation moves towards 2011 elections, there are increasing indications of fears and feelings of insecurity across the landscape.

Feelers from our correspondents show that members of the public are anxious that unless the situation is promptly addressed, the country may witness worse things in the days ahead. Particularly, the people have expressed worries that the general elections may spell doom for the nation if the rising state of insecurity is not given priority attention.
