Mexican Community Police celebrated 15th anniversary

Members of the Community Police, a protective corp created by the indigenous people of the Costa Chica, region in Guerrero State, Mexico, celebrated their fifteenth anniversary on Oct. 15, 2010. The autonomous police was established due to the once high magnitude of crimes committed in the area. Now there is no crime in the region, and according to it's coordinator it is the safest place in Mexico.
