Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday, dogged questions on the Peoples Democratic Party’s zoning formula that has caused sharp disagreements among top politicians in the country recently.
Obasanjo, who arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, at about 6pm, in his characteristic manner, was not willing to give a definite answer when he was confronted by journalists.
But, on further prompting he simply answered, “You see, there is something with that zoning. If you are there, you are there, if you are not there, you are not there.”
He did not elaborate on what his reply meant.
