Beijing's new CCTV headquarters gets facelift

Workers have begun to put up scaffolding, replacing the facade around the CCTV headquarters on Oct.14. Meanwhile, construction crews have begun to dismantle burned glass and will replace them all within the next month. A incomplete north wing building of Beijings new CCTV building was destroyed by fire during the Lantern Festival of 2009. The building started renovations in August of 2010.
