Hungary: Two bodies found -- red sludge death toll rises to seven

The accident -- which officials say is Hungary's worst-ever chemical accident and an "ecological disaster" -- occurred on October 4 when the walls of a reservoir of residue at an aluminium plant in nearby Ajka broke, sending a wave of stinking red sludge through seven villages in the west of the country and leaving a trail of devastation across an area of 40 square kms (15.4 square miles). In Kolontar, the army had to build a temporary bridge to replace one that was swept away by the flood.
