Taraba Governor Loses ADC


Danbaba Suntai, Taraba State governor
The Aide-Camp, ADC, to the governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Dan-Fulani Suntai, DSP  Olayinka Apata, is dead.

Apata died yesterday in a Lagos State hospital after a protracted illness.
According to a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor,  Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa, the governor received Apata’s death with rude shock, describing  the police officer as an epitome of hard work and discipline.
The statement added that Governor Suntai and his family as well as the people of Taraba  State will continue to miss his good work.
The governor described Apata as a man who lived a fulfilled life, a good Christian and a  disciplined officer that could be relied upon at all times.
The late ADC to the governor, who hailed from Ondo State, left behind a wife and his aged  parent.
The burial programme, according to the state government, will be released after due  consultation with members of his family.
When P.M.NEWS visited the Government House, Jalingo, this morning, staff were seen in  mourning mood, as they gathered in groups discussing the sad incident.
