Her eviction brought sadness to virtually all the other contestants, who couldn’t believe that ‘Mama Jungle’, as she was fondly called, was out of the show.
Kunle counted all the contestants that had been evicted and realised that they were people that have had one issue or the other with Mercy.
Jokingly, Kunle alerted the other contestants that they had to be wary of Mercy because she has been able to get rid of all her enemies in the camp. She was taunted as being in possession of a powerful metaphysical spell.
Somehow, Mercy got to know that she was accused of using ‘juju’ and the jungle literarily erupted. This led to a quarrel between her and Kunle, who claimed he never said anything like that. Others like Chukwuma, Ozioma and Caroline had to join the fray. They all claimed that Mercy was lying against Kunle because Kunle never accused her of using ‘charms.’
When their nerves finally calmed, everybody went to sleep, but the boys stole out in the dead of the night to roast plantain secretly. Unfortunately, Mercy, who was feigning sleep, caught them in the act and begged them to give her some.
Of course, they refused.
