Ini Edo turns producer

                                                                      INI EDO

She started acting some years back and since then, screen diva, Ini Edo, has faced several scandals in her career, which ordinarily could have pulled her down.

Ironically, the babe is soaring higher. She is undaunted. In fact, she is taking her career to a higher level. Now, not only is she a screen goddess, Edo is set to join the league of moviemakers with her debut production, Memories of My Heart.

The movie, which will be premiered on Oct. 15 in Lagos, features the likes of Ramsey Noah, Uche Jombo, Monalisa Chinda, Desmond Elliot, Nse Ikpe-Etim and herself.

Memories of My Heart tells the story of Halle, an aspiring actress, who had attended several auditions without getting a role.

She finally gets her chance when she claims to be Bankole Da Silva’s fiancée, an oil magnate she had never met. She was given the role on the condition that Bankole funds the movie. Halle now struggles to get out of the web she has spunned for herself.

Just as Halle gets Bankole’s attention, Bankole suffers a terrible accident, which led to amnesia. Dr. Dammie, a female doctor, nurses him back to health and into her waiting arms.

As the relationship deepens, Halle re-appears on the scene throwing Bankole into a state of confusion.

Stating what the movie is all about, the sultry actress says, “Memories of My Heart is a love story. It’s a feel-good movie to make you fall in love again and I assure you, after watching it, you will.”

Edo, an English Language graduate of the University of Calabar, began her acting career in 2000 after being discovered by a movie producer at an audition.
