Delta State Governor, Dr. Emma
Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, on Tuesday said governors from the South had started negotiating with their colleagues from the North concerning the 2011 presidency.
The governor, who spoke with newsmen after submitting his nomination and expression of interest forms for re-election in Abuja, said since politics was about negotiation, there was nothing wrong in negotiation with the northern governors and other political leaders from the zone.
The governor said, “Is about negotiation and we are negotiating with our colleagues in the North.”
Asked about the call for the dissolution of the state executive committee of the party, the governor said those making such calls were not known members of the party in the state.
A group of people had called for the dissolution of the state executive committee, claiming that if that was not done, the party could lose the election.
But the governor said, “I came to submit my form expression and nomination forms for the governorship race for Delta State.”
