Ban Tonto Dike. Boycott her movies.

I have only one very short thing to say.

Please help STOP Tonto Dike from acting. The girl is atrocious, she cannot act. If Nigeria has a porn industry, she is better of working there. She will make a very good porn star. the debauchery she exhibits in every movie she is in is enough to tell us that.

Please boycott all movies with Tonto Dike in it. If it pleases the actors guild, please ban this girl. she is a total disgrace to the growing nigerian film industry. The only reason producers keep using Tonto is because she is a whore. She is the sex element for them to use in selling their films to all of us hypocrites. We like sex, like to see it, but when Socrates Safo makes real porn for us, we yell at him. Thus, producers will put in Tonto. Knowing she will wring her mouth, put pressure on her face, make ugly faces and we think its cool as if that is what happens in Hollywood. Tonto thinks that is what will get her into Hollywood or that is what happens there? ignorant idiot she is in addition to being a cheap prostitute.

Shame on all the producers, actors and crew of dirty secret. Muna Obiekwe. Your nose like someone stepped on it. You too. next week is yours.

BAN TONTO DIKE, BAN TONTO DIKE, BAN TONTO DIKE, BAN TONTO DIKE. BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN THE WHORE!!!!

New Justin Bieber song "Ride" is for another artist

NEW YORK - Another previously unheard Justin Bieber song has hit the web: "Ride," an uptempo dance track that leaked online Wednesday and finds the 16-year-old pop star reflecting on -- what else? -- love over 8-bit-style blips.
Watchful Beliebers have speculated that "Ride" might appear on Bieber's next album, but a rep for the singer tells Billboard.com, "It's a demo that he wrote for another artist" -- which would explain why Bieber sings, "I could be your queen, but you could be my boo," during the first verse.
"I love it when you call me 'baby,' baby," Bieber later croons, in a melody that will sound familiar to fans of his hit single, "Baby."
Though the rep did not say when Bieber recorded "Ride," some fans have speculated that it was cut some time ago, as the star, whose voice has grown noticeably deeper over the course of 2010, is singing in a higher register on the track.
Clocking in at just over two-and-a-half minutes, "Ride" is the second Bieber cut to leak in recent weeks.
"Latin Girl," a track produced by JHype and Goodwill & MGI, surfaced online late November and was recorded for the singer's upcoming album, according to a source. The song's status since the leak is unclear.
Bieber, who released a "My Worlds Acoustic" album on November 26, has thus far only confirmed a collaboration with Rascal Flatts for his next LP, which will be the follow-up to "My World 2.0" and one of the most anticipated releases of next year.
"I love Rascal Flatts and I'm honored that they are making music with me," he said.

Michael Jackson album fails to top pop chart

Michael Jackson's first posthumous studio album was the top seller around the world during its first week of release, his label said on Wednesday, but was held to a modest No. 3 debut in the United States.
The collection of unfinished recordings, simply titled "Michael," took the No. 1 slot in Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden, said Sony Corp-owned Epic Records.
It was also a top-five starter in Belgium (No. 2), Canada (No. 2), Japan (No. 3 ), Britain (No. 4), France (No. 4) and Denmark (No. 4).
In Germany, "Michael" was the biggest debut of the year, selling 85,000 copies, Epic said. Its British start of 113,000 copies was the best for Jackson since 1991's "Dangerous."
In the United States, the world's largest music market, "Michael" sold about 228,000 copies during the week ended December 19. Music trade publication Billboard reported last month that Epic was projecting first-week sales of about 400,000 copies.
"Michael" was bested by Taylor Swift's "Speak," which returned to No. 1 for a third, nonconsecutive week with 259,000 copies, and former chart-topper Susan Boyle's "The Gift" with 254,000 copies.
Jackson's previous release, the "This Is It" compilation soundtrack, debuted at No. 1 in the United States a year ago with 373,000 units. Jackson was the biggest selling artist in the United States last year, selling 8.3 million albums mostly in the wake of his death in June at the age of 50.
His fortunes had long been on the wane in the United States, where his career was overshadowed by his bizarre behavior and allegations of inappropriate contact with young boys. Foreign fans were more forgiving, and Jackson was planning a series of comeback concerts in London until he succumbed to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
"Michael" marks the first of what is expected to be many forays into Jackson's trove of unreleased recordings by the executors of his estate. Big-name producers were hired to finish the tracks, and in some cases had to use digital technology to recreate Jackson's voice.
Clocking in at an economical 42 minutes, the 10-track album had critics wondering if Jackson, a notorious perfectionist, would have approved of it.
The New York Times described it as "a rush job," while Rolling Stone said it was "a grab bag of outtakes and outlines." Entertainment Weekly said it was a "solid" improvement on his last studio release, "Invincible." That 2001 album debuted at No. 1 in the United States with 366,000 copies, but was ultimately viewed as a commercial and creative disappointment.

Michael Jackson's dad files new wrongful death suit

An attorney for the father of Michael Jackson on Tuesday filed a new wrongful death lawsuit against the doctor accused of involuntary manslaughter in the pop singer's death.

The lawsuit by attorney Brian Oxman on behalf of Joe Jackson was filed in California Superior Court against Dr. Conrad Murray and companies with which he is affiliated. It includes the "Thriller" singer's mother Katherine Jackson and his three children as nominal parties.
As with a previous suit that was dismissed by a U.S. court, Joe Jackson claims Murray wrongfully provided the powerful anesthetic propofol and a "polypharmacy" of other drugs to Michael Jackson before the singer's death on June 25, 2009.
The suit also claims Murray asked a security guard to clean the room in which Jackson died of medication before police arrived, among other allegations, according to a copy of the suit obtained by Reuters.
The pop star died at age 50 in Los Angeles only days before he was to begin a series of comeback concerts in London. Murray was hired by concert promoters AEG Live to care for Jackson, but AEG was not named in the lawsuit filed on Tuesday.
The Los Angeles coroner has ruled Jackson's death was caused primarily by two sedatives, propofol and lorazepam, and acute propofol intoxication was the principal cause.
Earlier this year, prosecutors charged Murray with involuntary manslaughter, and the 56 year-old Texas-based doctor pleaded not guilty. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
On the anniversary of his son's death, Joe Jackson filed an original wrongful death suit in U.S. court, but this month a federal judge rejected a portion of the suit and said the remainder would need to be heard in a California state court. Tuesday's filing stems from the federal judge's ruling.

A word is enough for the 9ice — Ruggedman

Ruggedman

The long wait is finally over. Rapper, Ruggedman’s third album, Untouchable was released November 20. Expectedly, it contains the feverishly awaited response to his former collaborator, 9ice‘s earlier diss track, Talk, I am Listening which was released on September 20. Ruggedman’s birthday, While 9ice’s totters on crudity, Ruggedman‘s A Word is enough for the 9ice is as blistering as it is laden with braggadocio and advice.

Featuring up and comer, Ella, the hook of the song is an interpolation of the 1975 classic of unsung juju maestro, General Prince Adekunle and his Supersonic Sounds’ Awodi n fo ferere which is the parable of an eagle soaring higher than its normal altitude because it wants to meet God – a vain, fatal attempt. Prince Adekunle’s orginal version opens the song and sums up Ruggedman‘s lyrical package to 9ice.

Tracing the genesis of their relationship to when 9ice was ‘a studio rat‘ in producer, ID Cabasa‘s studio, Ruggedman said he took him in, upgraded him, showed him the ropes and put him on the music stage where he found fame and fortune. He didn’t stop there. He says, “I gave you the money, the fame and the wife that changed your life and gave you a son. In other words, I gave you a life.”

Sounding rather penitent, the rapper said he had to leak his private telephone conversation with 9ice on the Internet because he was fed up with myriad accusations that he was overly familiar with the latter‘s estranged wife.

There had been a groundswell of finger pointing in Ruggedman‘s direction when 9ice‘s song, Once Bitten, Twice Shy off his Tradition album hit the streets. The subsequent breakup of the singer’s marriage to his wife, Toni Payne further aroused interest in who 9ice was actually referring to in the controversial song. According to Ruggedman, “All I wanted was to clear my name of the dirty rumour,” admitting, however, that he went about it the wrong way out of desperation.

Then, like a hypocritical guardian of privileges, he launches into a clinical tirade on the things he did and didn’t do for 9ice: ”You tried to tarnish my image and that of your wife because you wanted to sell CDs, God bless you. You can tease me all you want, but it would never change the fact that the first big stage you got on was through me. The first award you won was through me. You started making money after I introduced you to the world. The wife you married, I introduced to you. The first child you got was from the woman I introduced to you. I helped you come up in the industry……Never pay back good with evil. Be respectful to your elders.”

Earlier, one of Ruggedman’s protégées, Chinaydu had replied 9ice in a track entitled, And The Beef Goes On which samples the beat of 70s American R&B group, The Whispers‘ song of the same title.

9ice’s manager, Dehinde Fajana, tells E-Punch, “We won’t dignify Ruggedman with a response.” As the war of words between the two artistes reaches frightening dimension, well-meaning older entertainers have not ceased to mediate but none of them seems ready for a truce.

Michael Jackson kids reminisce

Michael Jackson's children reminisced on Monday about their "normal dad" in a rare TV interview that marked a transition to a less sheltered life.

"I kind of felt like no-one understood what a good father he was. I'd say he was the best cook ever," his daughter Paris Jackson, 12, told TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
"He was just a normal dad, except for he was, like, the best dad ever," she added.
Paris, her older brother Prince Michael, 13, and Prince Michael II, 8, who is also known as Blanket, were filmed with their grandmother and guardian Katherine Jackson and her husband Joe at the Jackson family compound in Los Angeles.
The interview was broadcast on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday.
Paris and Prince said they were adjusting well to school, which they started in September. Katherine Jackson, saying she wanted to give the children as normal a life as possible, said that shy Blanket wants to attend school next year. Jackson kept his children secluded before his death in June 2009 and often had them wear veils in public.
Paris, the most talkative of the trio, said the veils were sometimes uncomfortable, but she appreciated that her father wanted to protect them.
"He tried to raise us without us knowing who he was, but that didn't really go so well," she said, adding that she hoped to be an actress.
"I'd like to be an actress when I'm older. I sometimes do improv. I used to do it with my dad."
Prince said he liked videogames and sports and that he wants to produce movies and direct when he grows up.
Katherine Jackson said all three kids speak a lot about their father. "Paris, she's very emotional. She talks about him all the time, and she's a strong one. All the pictures on her wall in her bedroom are Michael," she said.
Katherine Jackson called the day Jackson died of a prescription drug overdose "the worst day of my life. You know what broke my heart more than anything else in this world? When people at the hospital told us 'You can leave now' and Paris said 'Grandma, where are we going?'" she told Winfrey.
Jackson's personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, is awaiting trial on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. He has admitted giving Jackson what turned out to be a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic Propofol to help him sleep.
Katherine Jackson told Winfrey that she had tried to stop what she called his addiction to painkillers and to plastic surgery procedures on his nose.
Her son's nose got so small that it looked "like a toothpick at one time. I had told him, 'that's enough, why do you keep going?'" she said.

Justin Bieber sweeps American Music Awards

Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber swept the American Music Awards on Sunday, overshadowing Eminem to take home four prizes, including artist of the year.
The fresh-faced pop singer also won statuettes for favorite pop album, breakthrough artist and favorite male pop artist.
Since the awards are determined by fans' online voting, the 16-year-old star was unquestionably the frontrunner. His millions of young female fans reportedly account for a hefty portion of overall Twitter messaging traffic.
Eminem and country trio Lady Antebellum, who led the contenders with five nominations each, had to make do with some scraps. Eminem won a pair of prizes in the rap/hip hop field, losing to Bieber in his three other categories. He did not attend the event at the Nokia Theater. Lady Antebellum was named best country group.
R&B singer Usher, who helped discover Bieber about 18 months ago and signed the youngster to a record deal, also won a pair of prizes. The two embraced on stage after Bieber collected his artist of the year trophy.
"I don't cry that often but I did, and I enjoyed it," Usher told reporters backstage.
During his trips to the stage, Bieber repeatedly thanked his fans and reflected on his unlikely rise to fame.

"I'm from the smallest town in the world of, like, 30,000 people," he said as he accepted the breakthrough artist award. "I never thought this was possible."
CANADIAN INVASION
Bieber, who was raised in Stratford, Ontario, but now lives in the United States, is perhaps the hottest new commodity in the music world. His album "My World 2.0" has sold almost 2 million copies in the United States since its release earlier this year, and his public appearances turn into mob scenes.
It ended up being a great night for Canadians. Michael Buble, 35, won his first-ever award, for favorite adult contemporary artist. "While you Americans are sitting getting fat, us Canadians are getting ready to take over," he joked backstage.
British rock band Muse was also a first-time winner, for favorite alternative rock artist.
Other winners at the 38th annual ceremony included country stars Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley; funk band the Black Eyed Peas; R&B singer Rihanna, and Colombian pop siren Shakira.

Usher advises Justin Bieber away from fan romance

Usher has advised Justin Bieber not to date a fan.
The 'OMG' hitmaker is a mentor to the 16-year-old singer and has advised his protegee to enjoy his success but to learn from his own mistakes and keep a distance from his supporters a.
He said: "I tell Justin you've got to love all your fans without falling in love with them. I can't say I've never dated a fan but it's not a good idea. I tell him to understand that you are a fantasy to them and you should be mindful of that.
"And I encourage him to not take success so seriously so early. Have fun with it. And make friends!"
Usher - who has sons Usher V, two, and Naviyd, 23 months, with ex-wife Tameka Foster - is thankful for his own success and would never complain about his life because he knows how lucky he is.
He added: "I'm so happy. I can't complain. And if I did, people would have a fit.
"How could I complain when I get to do what I do, travel, be with my kids and have a grand life?"

Rapper DMX is back in an Arizona jail

Troubled rapper DMX is back in an Arizona jail for drug-related probation violations including cocaine use, court officials said on Friday.
The rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was taken into custody without incident Thursday night in Phoenix by probation officers, authorities said. He is being held in a county jail without bond.
Simmons, 39, was arrested on suspicion of seven probation violations, including illegal possession of the drug Oxycontin, failing to submit to drug testing and counseling programs and driving with a suspended license, according to court documents.
"Mr. Simmons has several felony convictions, and has been given multiple opportunities to succeed on probation," court papers said. "He has been directed to treatment, as well as chose his own treatment program, and continues to use illegal drugs following these opportunities."
The rapper, whose albums include "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" and "Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood," last violated his probation in March by using illegal drugs and was sentenced to six months in jail and another 20 months probation by a court commissioner. At the time, authorities said he admitted using cocaine and failed to comply with the terms of his treatment plan.
It was unclear how long he might stay in jail for this new round of probation violations. An attorney for Simmons could not immediately be reached for comment on Friday.
DMX has a long record of arrests in Arizona for crimes that
range from animal cruelty to reckless driving and weapons possession. He most recently served time in a Los Angeles County jail on a 2002 reckless driving charge.
Along with his music, the rapper starred in the movies "Romeo Must Die" and "Cradle 2 The Grave."

Fame? I disguise like woman in purdah to walk Lagos streets – Obesere

Many years ago, he was just a struggling musician. But today, with 33 albums to his credit, fuji star Abass Akande Obesere has surely come a long way. Only recently, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola appointed him an environmental ambassador, a rare honour the musician so much appreciated.

Obesere narrates the story of his struggling days, rise to stardom, connection with former president Ibrahim Babangida, and how he has become a prisoner of fame. Enjoy:

Beginning
I never knew I was going to be a musician even though I had been playing music since my primary school days. It was after getting into secondary school that I realized that I couldn’t do without music. I tried to learn some trades like printing, buying and selling of electronics and even went into boxing but all these did not work out for me.

Music, my destiny
My parents never encouraged me to go into music despite being from a home of musicians. My dad believed so much in education he wanted all his children to be graduates. But I was much more into music than taking a look at education. Though, I tried so much to go to school and my parents also did their best to make sure I was educated, it soon dawned on me that there was no way I could delay my destiny, which is music.

Outcast
My parents threw me out of the house because I insisted on playing music. They realized that they couldn’t stop me from following my heart desires so they sent me out of the house so as to break my resolve but it failed. Rather than being dejected, I took charge of my dream. I moved in with a friend who later relocated and left the apartment for me. I was paying N30 as house rent monthly. Whenever I came back from school, I had to go to where I was learning a trade. It was rough fending for myself but I was making some money to make ends meet and was able to save one naira daily, and at the end of the month, I had N30 which I gave to the landlord as rent. Those days were rough but I was determined.

The break
I did not really go to anybody to learn music. For me, music is inborn; it’s a gift from God. If you don’t have the talent, there’s no way you will do it well. I remember that then, I did not have money to sponsor myself but a musician, Alhaji Mustapha Aremu Arisejafe, who played shows every Friday at Ebute Metta, Lagos, gave me a chance to be heard. That was the beginning of my journey to fame and stardom. One day, I went to hang out where he played. Incidentally, one of his back-up singers was absent. He then asked me to stand in for him. After backing him for 30 minutes, he handed over the microphone to me and I started singing. Within a short while, people loved my music and when he came back for the mic, the crowd insisted I should play on. After that day, he took me around to wherever he went and I was beginning to get my fan base. But he soon had issues with some promoters, so he went on strike. While the strike lasted, the band boys and I organised ourselves into a group and started playing. However, when Alhaji settled with the promoters and called off his strike, he called all the boys back into the band. But rather than go back to Alhaji, I chose to start my own band. I put my own band together and went to Alhaji for his blessings which I got. I was 23 years old at the time.

Mum’s blessing
Within a short while, I was playing shows in the neighbourhood and appearing on television. Soon, word began to spread that a new star was born, and within a short while, word reached my parents that I was the new music star. My parents didn’t have a choice but to accept me. It happened that my mother’s friends who had been seeing me on TV went to meet her and said, ‘please, give this boy your blessings. People like his music and remember, he comes from a home of musicians.’ So, one day, my mum came to my house at Ebute Metta unexpectedly and when we saw each other, we started crying. I ran into her arms and embraced her. It was a tearful reunion. She gave me her blessings and prayed for me. To this day I am still enjoying her blessings. I have released 33 albums to date.

Life as teetotaler
I don’t drink and I don’t smoke. I don’t take Indian hemp either. We all have our ways of getting inspiration. I don’t need anything to perform or write my songs. Inspiration comes to me very naturally and it’s God’s gift. That’s why I am a different fellow entirely. If I get on stage now, you’d be shocked because I am like a lion on stage. But whoever takes anything before going on stage probably likes it that way and I don’t have anything against them. But you don’t really need to take anything as long as you know what you’re doing. It’s like saying that because I am a lawyer I should smoke Indian hemp before going to court. I am using this opportunity to advise young people that they don’t need any stimulant to be entertainers.

On his new hip-hop fuji album
Besides being a musician, I see myself as a promoter as well. A lot of artistes come to me for assistance. Most of them I give money to record their albums and sometimes I also feature on their works. I am currently working on a project but I don’t want to talk about it right now. There are things that I am doing privately that I don’t need to talk about in the public. But the fact is that in anything you do, you must always brand yourself. And then you must be dynamic so that people will not get bored too soon. As an artiste, you must be professional and capable of handling any kind of occasion. In fuji, we sing in Yoruba but now the language has been fused into hip-hop. I want people to know that I am a professional and very capable. As the paramount king of fuji music, I have to prove to people that I am capable and can handle any occasion. That was why I went into the studio to record a hip hop album entitled, Double Revolution. It’s a double album with a fusion of fuji and hip hop.

Prisoner of fame
With the fame I have, I can’t go to places like Mushin and it is saddening. I can’t get out and do those things I used to do before. But I have devised a way of moving freely. Once in a while I dress like an eleha (woman in purdah) and take okada to places like Mushin because I want to see what is happening there. I realise that I cannot go out just the way I want to and it’s painful. I have to go out in a car with tinted glasses or people would chase me all over. Area boys and okada riders are always after me. Danfo drivers would discharge their passengers and come after me once they sight me. That’s the reason I don’t use customized number plates; it only creates problems for you.

Relationship with female fans
If there are no women as fans of musicians, there’s no success. You see, there must be women because it is women that will first appreciate your music before men will appreciate it. And that’s the reason you don’t have to take them for granted. Now you ask me, how do I handle them? Most women are my friends. But it’s not every woman you come across that you must sleep with. If any woman wants you, once you know you don’t want to have anything to do with her, instead of hurting her, why don’t you just let her know you want to be just her friend? If you fall for them that means you have feelings for them. Don’t start what you can’t end. I prefer making them friends to hurting them because I know that if I start this, I can’t end it. You have to be very blunt. Sometimes I tell them that listen, ‘what you want is not possible. This is the kind of relationship I can have with you.’ And if they keep coming, I use wisdom to manage them because by virtue of my profession, I can’t avoid them.

Gov. Fashola and I
Recently, I was made an Environmental Ambassador by Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola. I believe that there must be one or two things that they have noticed about me before honouring me because there are a lot of musicians out there who also deserve the honour. It could be my music or my personality but in everything I do, I always have it at the back of my mind that people are watching me. So, for someone like BRF to give that to me is a great honour and I believe that the reason goes beyond the music. That honour came because of my contribution to environment in Lagos State. And that is the reason the state felt I had to be honoured. I have been preaching to people through my music and promoting the environment because of the dangers of green house gasses. The world is going green and we can’t be left behind.

Me, music and IBB
As a musician, I can work with whoever I like. If you become the Governor of Lagos State today and you want my services, I just might consider you. But as far as IBB is concerned, I want to state categorically that I have not received any money from him. All I know is that as a professional artiste, if anybody needs me to realise his political ambition, I am ready. All we need to do is give Nigeria a positive image; my music is already doing that. I am an artiste for everybody. My fan base cuts across the nation and all political parties. Just like TV stations advertise various products which claim to be the best because the producers are paying so too, I will sing for any politician who is ready. I am a businessman. Any politician is free to come for my services and that is the reason I don’t belong to any party; I am not a card carrying member of any party. I am a musician for all the parties and who ever pays me, I will perform for.

Why should I perform for only one party? Only one party cannot feed me. Whatever they say I would do. My job is to send their messages across. It is just like the newspapers. Everybody goes to them for adverts so also politicians can come to me for adverts. Once they pay me, I will do their jobs.
Already, there’s been a lot of toasting. Different politicians are trying to get me on their side and I am ready for everybody; I am just a channel. The toasting is coming from all over the country and I am in a right position to project their messages.

Dating rumour trails movie stars, Muyiwa Ademola and Foluke Daramola

Creative actor, Muyiwa Ademola and star actress, Foluke Daramola are gradually becoming an item in Nollywood romance talks.

Happily married, the Ibadan based fine-looking actor will have to convince his numerous fans he is having nothing illicit doing with the stunning-looking Foluke, who is still on the look-out for another perfect male match since she lost her marriage to a Lagos Commissioner's son to alleged mistrust about two years ago.

Rumours are that Muyiwa was all about town lately with Foluke inside his newly-acquired ash-coloured Chrysler 2009 model with registration number EC 982 FCT. For some hours, they were said to be cruising together in the wonder-wheels around Ikeja's known fun spots.

However, those who are close to Muyiwa have said that dating Foluke would be a mystery as she is known to everyone within the industry as his 'sister'. We learnt that the actor himself envisaged such a story would come up when he told a group of friends at a pub within Ikeja that he had unwittingly made himself a gossip target by carrying Foluke, not his wife, in his new car.

At the time the two movie stars were caught, they were said to be on their way to a social function on the Lagos Island.
Muyiwa had earlier been linked in romance with another actress, Mosun Filani, while Foluke was alleged to be having illicit affair with a popular Gospel act, Lanre Atorise. Both have, however, denied the story.Dating rumour trails movie stars,
