Eye make-up for day and evening

Eye make-up for day and evening
For the most casual daywear, ditch the liner and sweep on taupe eye shadow with a few coats of dark mascara. To keep makeup on longer, prep the lids with a concealer or primer before applying shadow.

When applying mascara, wiggle the wand back and forth at the lash base. It‘s the mascara near the roots?not the tips?that gives the illusion of length.

Make your eyes pop by sweeping on a dark shadow where the brow bone meets the crease. Matte eye powder has a classic texture that‘s works well on any skin type, so it‘s especially good for beginners.

For a simple look, run a slanted brush (or a Q-tip) over shadow, then apply in a fine line along the upper lash line. Bring out deep-set eyes by applying a light, neutral shadow under the brow bone and at the inner corner of the eye. Line the upper lashes with dark shadow.

When using only one eye shadow, layer it more heavily around the lash line, then softly blend it so that it fades naturally at the crease. No matter what your hair colour, black mascara is flattering. It defines your eyes and makes you appear more wide awake. The perpetually popular smoky eye starts with eyeliner, applied in heavy strokes, then blended.

Women And Inter-tribal Marriages

Amara
Marriage is a wonderful institution designed by God. It is really a mystery how two  people from different parents come together as one. When two people fall in love, no  amount of pressure can stop them and if eventually they are stopped, it is always very  disastrous.
I happen to come from the Eastern part of the country where there is so much being done  wrongly in marriage. I can confidently say that only a few marriages in the East are  based on love. This is because as a girl is growing, there is someone, probably a family  friend she is reserved for. Her opinion does not matter as she is told that she will get  to love the man as they begin to live together. What a pity!
Even the matured ones don’t get married because they are in love. They get married  because that man can take care of the family or because age is not on their side. I have  seen very beautiful girls from my village age in their parents’ house. This is not  because they were not what the society would have them be, but because they fell in love  with total strangers and their parents were against the relationship.
It is really sad seeing parents in this generation still pushing their daughters into  wrong marriages. This is one reason why the rate of divorce is very high. Two people who  have nothing in common and are raised with totally different outlook are forced to become  husband and wife.

How Did It Get So Bad?

Amara
Women are known to be blessed with so much aura and attraction. Women were known to be  very decent and hard to get. Men used to go through a lot of stress just to have a woman  and they enjoyed doing it because they felt it was worth it. But have you realised lately  that men no longer spend time trying to get women? My uncle recently told me how they  used to write so many love letters, receive insults, and sometimes get beaten just in  their struggle to get a woman. Women were seen as priceless jewels. Those were the days  when women had some element of shame in them.
But what is happening these days, women have suddenly become shameless and do I call it  abnormal? Looking at the dating arena, it is no longer what it used to be. Men no longer  bother so much about women because we have so much cheapened ourselves that they now see  us as the cheapest product in the market. I don’t know if you have heard this, but when  you ask a man why he is not ready to go through stress for a woman he claims to love, the  only response you get is this; there are so many girls out there looking for men. Girls,  this is where we have suddenly brought ourselves to. We have suddenly become cheaper than  chewing gum in the market.
