Designed to bring stakeholders in the automobile sector under one roof on a yearly basis, the ceremony is scheduled to hold between October 19 to 25, 2010.
Declaring the event open, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola said the hosting of the fair in Lagos is an attestation of the vibrant and viable commercial status of the state.
Besides, Fashola who was represented at the opening by the Commissioner for Transport, Prof. Bamidele Badejo, noted that the importance of the fair is a good way to encourage private/ public partnership in the state.
According to him, consistency of the fair in the last six years has in no small way contributed to the economic wellbeing of the state, adding that it has also helped in sustaining consumer patronage of automotive products and services.
