Svelte Ronke Ojora may share her mother, Lanre Ojora‘s posh looks, but she does not in any way share her disposition for socialising. In her thirties, the former is one of the three kids borne to now deceased Mobil top shot and socialite, Bade Ojora.
Prior to his death in the nineties, Ojora, who was the younger brother of Otunba Adekunle Ojora, was one of Lagos‘ favoured socialites. His aristocratic background rubbed off positively on his children who rank among the several silver spoon offspring in town.
Regrettably, the eldest child, Bimbo Babalola, was one of the victims of the ill-fated Bellview plane crash of 2005. She was married to the former Minister of Power, Lanre Babalola. The duo met and married in 2001 at a state-of-the-art nuptial ceremony in England and were blessed with two kids prior to the 33-year- old‘s death.
It is a well known fact that the ugly incident forced her siblings, especially her party- loving mother, to beat a retreat from the social circles. Making a long overdue return after a few years in the limbo, Lanre‘s social life suffered another setback when she suffered a mild stroke that hastened a second retreat.
While she has since recovered and resumed her favourite past time, her daughter, Ronke, seems to have given rollicking a wide berth, as opposed to her brother, Shola, who also savours the act.
