Youth dancing at the show
Since Maltina started the Show your Swag road show a few months back, it has brought smiles to the faces of many young Nigerians, who went home with mouth-watering prizes.
In Benin last weekend, it was the turn of Miss Orogun Emuobasa and Miss Iyoha Susan, both students of the University of Benin, Benin, who emerged the winner and the first-runner-up respectively in the female category of the show.
Indeed, Emuobasa has got the swag as nobody doubted that the babe is a great dancer and she showed the audience, who filled the auditorium, the stuff she is made off.
She says, “I’m not really surprised that I came first this afternoon. As a matter of fact, when I learnt that the show would be held in Ekpoma, I told myself that it would be another great opportunity for me to display the swag that I have been known for on campus. I was selected to participate in the final showdown, which eventually culminated in my being adjudged the best dancer in Ekpoma. It is really a big honour for me.”
Emuobasa says she plans to take her talent to the next level soonest, adding that she will not reveal her next move now. She was full of joy as a 2.5 KVA generator set, the star prize, was handed over to her.
On her part, Iyoha, whose stage name is Sensation, was really sensational on the show as she brought glamour to the show with a dressing that made the eyes of many in the audience bulging out from their sockets.
“The dressing is really part of my winning strategy to command attention,” she says, adding, “I’ll not say that the strategy did not really work. It did, only that the lady that came first had a lot of stunts that no one could fault. That was the reason she came first and I give it to her.”
She went home with a 21” TV set, which was the second prize.
