For those who attended the Bournvita @50 celebration where 1000 women were honoured last week Thursday at an event tagged, Largest Gathering of Mothers, it was a time well spent. It was not an all women event though, as men were part of the celebration where the anchor man, Ali Baba, made guests to crack with laughter at intervals
Apart from launching the new look Bournvita at the event which held at the elegantly decorated 10 Degree Event, Oregun Lagos, guests were transported back in time through music and fashion.
With top fashion outfit, Modela, running the fashion show where afro wig-sporting models took the guests through the styles that reigned in the past, many of the guests, especially the older ones, would have felt a twig of nostalgia.
While the fashion show lasted, guests enjoyed songs by great musicians of old, including Nico Mbanga, Orlando Owoh, UB 40, Felix Liberty, Majek Fashek, Micheal Jackson and Cool and the gang. In addition, internationally recognised star, Tuface Idibia, brought the guests back to the present time with his thrilling performance.
