The Premier University, University of Ibadan begins her four-day 2010 CONVOCATION AND 62ND FOUNDATION DAY CEREMONIES, Professor Ade Adefuye, an ambassador of Nigeria to the United States of America, presented the convocation lectures last Thursday in his lecture, he urges the students to keep the flag flying, also the Premier University produced 1, 499 students on Saturday, 13 November, 2010 from faculties of Arts,Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health, Technology and Law .
The number of students graduated with First Class were 55 and Second Class Upper Division Honours degrees were 371, spread across the faculties while 77 received Diploma Certificates. Prof. Olufemi Bamiro, the university vice chancellor whose tenure come to an end by December 1 urge and implore the graduating students to consider their certificates as a springboard and a call to greater challenges and aspirations in life.
