Before I get too deep into this write up, I’ll like to make it clear that its main aim is not to act as a tribute to the Silverbird group @ 30, formidable though it is. Anyone, individual or corporate organisation, who has been around for all of 30 years in Nigeria, emerging even stronger, deserves more than one miserly piece in a column. An entire column would not do sufficient justice. So, having shown you proof in the foregoing that I think Silverbird has done well @ 30, let’s turn our attention to the main reason for this piece: TV coverage of the Silverbird @ 30 celebrations.
In any case, without that TV coverage, I wouldn’t have been in any position to contribute to any discussions about the anniversary as the event itself was strictly by invitation.
