NABTEB to certify trained prisoners

Arrangements have been concluded between the National Business and Technical Examinations Board, based in Benin, Edo State, and authorities of the Nigerian Prisons Service for the certification of inmates trained as artisans while serving their jail terms.

Acting Registrar of the NABTEB, Dr. Olatunde Aworanti, who disclosed this to our correspondent on Saturday, said the collaboration was designed to complement government’s effort to reform and reintegrate ex-convicts into the society “without much ado.”
