Kwara governorship aspirant seeks transformational leadership

A Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant in Kwara State, Alhaji Bashir Bolarinwa, has said that the state needs a transformational leadership.

Bolarinwa, who stated this in an interview with journalists in Abuja, on Monday, said he was not bothered by the endorsement of a governorship aspirant in Kwara State, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, by her father, Dr. Olusola Saraki.

The aspirant, who is a member of the House of Representatives, said he would emerge as the governorship candidate of the PDP in the state.

Bolarinwa said, “ He (Dr. Olusola Saraki) is my leader, but he is not the ultimate factor in winning an election in Kwara politics. However, I respect him.

“His anointment of his daughter as the next governor doesn’t bother me because as a Moslem, I believe in Allah above any man.”
